Brenden and Ali tied the knot on 10.01.23 at the lovely Ashton Hill in Galena, IL with all their close friends and family. We couldn’t asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, no humidity, and the Fall sunset was perfect. Ali put endless amounts of time into every detail and it showed. The personal vows during the ceremony, animal napkins, seating chart and florals at the venue and lastly her dress was stunning.
Their ceremony was kicked off with their oldest pup, Koby walking down the aisle along with their closest family and friends. I love intimate ceremonies! Once of Zack’s brother married them (there 4 of them!) along with readings from both moms. It was lovely. They ended the ceremony with bubbles, family photos and then joined the cocktail hour.
Jakub and Emily met in 2018 at a Theology on Tap night at a Catholic church in Cedar Rapids. The two quickly bonded over IPAs and long Sunday morning runs. As their relationship blossomed, they began to blend cultures. Jakob immigrated to the States in 2005, bringing with him the language, food, and Polish traditions. And without surprise, when these two got married, it was without a doubt going to be quite the Polish party.
