One of the best parts of my job is that I get to fly to amazing destinations with incredible people. After 2020 wreaked havoc on their Dubuque wedding, John and Willa scrapped the plan and brought everyone to Florida for a beachy Florida day off matrimony. The Langford’s loved ones came from all over the globe to celebrate, including the bride and groom themselves who just happen to live in Europe.
These two are as go-with-the-flow as you can get. Willa is probably the most low-key bride I’ve ever met. She rocked no shoes, a vintage dress, not a stitch of makeup and maybe curled two pieces of her hair. John’s emerging smile was shining brighter than the Florida sun. What gorgeous humans inside and out. And the true showstopper of this day was their little boy Bennet because there really isn’t anything cuter than children frolicing on the beach.
Between the towering palm trees, sweeping ocean views, and neverending golden light, this day will be permanently ingrained in my mind. It will be the happy place I imagine when I’m stuck inside during a snowstorm this winter. Congratulations John and Willa. And thanks for bringing me on vacation with you!
