This was the year I had an entire book of business as a solo photographer. The last two years I spent learning, being a second photographer and gradually growing my business. 2020 was the year and then COVID hit and kinda threw a wrench in my plans (keyword my plans, ha). Little did I know, it did not stop Marshall and Abby from getting hitched. FINALLY, I am here to share their special day with you.
A few months ago Abby reached out after Marshall proposed regarding a September wedding. We picked a date, photographed their engagement and then realized why not do it sooner than later. So, they called me one random night in June asking for my availability, and a week later I was photographing their special day. Yup, you read that right. THEY PLANNED THEIR WEDDING IN LESS THAN A WEEK!
They had a full ceremony and a reception to follow in a friends backyard. It was so beautiful and just down right perfect. There wasn’t a thing missing. One of my favorite parts was their first look. They were able to reach their written vows to each other alone before everyone else was around. It was so intentional and romantic. After the ceremony, we ate, snagged some photos with the sunset and danced under some lights.
