Brenden and Ali tied the knot on 10.01.23 at the lovely Ashton Hill in Galena, IL with all their close friends and family. We couldn’t asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, no humidity, and the fall sunset was perfect. Ali put endless amounts of time into every detail and it showed. The personal vows during the ceremony, animal napkins, seating chart and florals at the venue and lastly her dress was stunning. Every detail was worth the time. I told her she could totally make it as a wedding planner if she ever wanted to change careers 😉
If you haven’t been to Ashton Hill in Galena, IL I recommend taking a tour. The venue is stunning with a great view. It’s a great option if you want a spot for both ceremony and reception. No travel needed. Brenden and Ali said “I do” in their church via a trolly and we made it back for cocktail hour, food and all the dancing one could ask for.
A few of my favorite parts of the wedding day were their puppy dogs, the choreographed first dance, dinner, sunset photos and the dance floor. Let me give you more details. Ali and Brenden LOVE their animals and with the venue have such a nice outdoor area, they were able to bring their dog for some photos. It was perfect addition. Did someone say choreographed first dance?! YES, and THEY CRUSHED IT! I highly recommend taking dance lessons or having something planned for this part of the evening. It was so fun to watch. I had to throw dinner in the mix because it was probably one of the best wedding meals I have eaten. Check out their vendor list below. I highly recommend them all. Sunset that night was very magical. We almost didn’t go out because we had shot so much content prior but they were up for it and I’m so happy. The color were breathtaking. Lastly, the dance floor, everyone raves about the DJ and it’s true. If you want people to dance, you gotta have the music and they did. Get a good DJ, it’s worth it.
