I remember my first Facetime call with Zack and Libby. Zack was wearing a Cubs hat and Libby was the kindest soul a person could be. I remember their dogs in the background wanting to be involved with the convo as well and I knew we’d be a perfect fit to work together. When we chatted about their big day all I could think about was classic but glamorous with a touch of farm life. I honestly think it was a perfect mix with their personalities. Zack and Libby had just relocated and they were planning from afar and you would have never known that.. all the details were spot on.
On their big day I met them at a hotel in Galena and then they shuttled people from the hotel. It was perfect for people to relax, have fun and not have to drive. Libby did her hair in high ponytail (here for it) with subtle makeup. She’s a natural beauty so she didn’t need much. She wore this flowy dress that opened in the back. It was so different than anything I’ve ever seen and it fit her like a glove. Also, so breathable for the Midwest summer. Zack wore a fitted, navy blue tux with a flamingo tie. So cute.
Their ceremony was kicked off with their oldest pup, Koby walking down the aisle along with their closest family and friends. I love intimate ceremonies! One of Zack’s brothers married them (there 4 of them!) along with readings from both moms. It was lovely. They ended the ceremony with bubbles, family photos and then joined the cocktail hour.
We wrapped the night up with a wonderful dinner, signature cocktails, yummy desserts, lots of speeches and good music. The night couldn’t have been more perfect to celebrate such a special couple. Check out the vendor list below along with a few of my favorite photos.. just a few 😉
