Hey, ya’ll Happy 2019. Yes, it February and I’m still saying HNY, ha!

It’s so crazy, this is my first blog post moving into the New Year. I feel like I should have posted THIS WAY SOONER, ugh. Anyway, here I am posting it now. Before 2019 hit, I teamed up with Isaiah Smith, owner of Tree Boy Films and collaborated on a PROMO video for my business. I wanted something behind the scenes and gave clients a little feeling of what it would be like to work with me. If you missed the video, check out my Instagram highlights and you can find it there. I’m still trying to find a sweet spot on my website for it, so stay tuned. As for the video, He ROCKED IT.. OUT OF THIS WORLD! Let’s just say the man is talented. If you EVER need a videographer, hire him. You won’t regret it.

Tagging along with Isaiah I had two awesome friends that were willing to model, Trevor and Bre. They are the beautiful faces in the video and photos below. They are natural HOTTIES! One thing I love about their look is that it’s so natural and simple. They are outdoor lovers (yes please!) and totally made the video more than I could have ever imagined. We went with two looks: The first look was dressy and the second was more relaxed and outdoorsy. For the dressy look, Bre wore a long sleeve, green dress, with some little booties. The green color just made her blonde hair and skin tones just pop. I was so happy she decided to go with that piece. Also, I brought a white blanket from Ikea that adds a little warmth, color and texture. I’m so glad I decided to toss it in last minute. I feel like those little additions can really help break up poses and add something extra.

Also, I brought along a portable fire pit to keep everyone warm (and who doesn’t love the smell of bonfire?) and add a little something to the outdoor feel. IT WORKED PERFECTLY! Also, I got some easy matches that worked like a champ, to start the fire. As for the location of the video, we were out at the Mines of Spain in Dubuque, IA. It’s probably one of my favorite places to walk and take pictures. The colors alone are breathtaking along with the variety of tress and landscape terrain. This definitely is a hidden gem in Dubuque. Anyway, enjoy the photos and check out the video when you get a chance. Feel free to comment below or reach out with any questions.
